The Bellows Falls Middle School Student Council was recognized by the office of the Governor, as part of the Rays of Kindness Initiative.
Their efforts to support the community and encourage student engagement is commendable! The plaque will hang proudly at Bellows Falls Middle School.
In part, the award read: " Your efforts to organize this year's sock drive, encouraging fellow students to donate more than 150 pairs of socks to Our Place- will benefit many individuals and families, and I'm grateful for it. I would like to show my own thanks by declaring an official recognition of your selfless service.
Your generosity is one of the many reasons to feel hopeful and inspired. It's Vermonters like you- who band together during hard times- who have helped us light the way for the nation in our acts of kindness and community spirit"
